My story

Jordan Macdonald

Hi, I’m Jordan. I’ve been working in the fitness industry for over a decade, growing and evolving as a coach through personal experience, education, and mentorship. My expertise includes personal training, nutrition coaching, intuitive eating counseling, and mindset coaching. For much of my career, I was also a competitive bodybuilder.

Through my personal journey, I experienced firsthand the toll that an obsession with physical appearance can take. The pressure to stay “stage-ready” and the mental weight I carried became overwhelming, leading to struggles with body image, mental health, and an unhealthy relationship with food. Recognizing how much this was affecting my overall well-being, I knew I needed to change—and I did.

Today, I’m free from food addiction and body dysmorphia, and I’m passionate about helping others overcome their own challenges. Whether you’re struggling with weight loss, body image, food patterns, physical fitness, or mental roadblocks, I’m here to guide you toward balance and fulfillment.

I believe in creating sustainable plans that empower you with the tools to live a joyful, balanced life—without restrictive or unsustainable methods. You can truly have it all; it’s about addressing and working through the imbalances holding you back.

What is Intuitive eating and what are the benefits?

Intuitive Eating is a holistic approach to nutrition that encourages you to listen to your body's natural hunger and fullness signals. Instead of following restrictive diets, intuitive eating helps you build a healthier, more mindful relationship with food. This approach allows you to enjoy eating without guilt, make peace with food, and respect your unique nutritional needs.

When we live with a diet mentality, we develop belief systems around food that can lead to bingeing and other related eating disorders. Intuitive eating allows you to break free from restrictive diets and listen to your body’s needs. In the long run, this can help with weight fluctuations, body positivity, chronic dieting, and weight loss. Who is right for intuitive eating

ANYONE!!! Specifically, if you have been on and off the diet train for a long time, this is a clear sign you might need to try something else. Intuitive eating is particularly beneficial for those with disordered eating patterns such as bingeing, starvation, food guilt, anorexia, orthorexia, bulimia, or body image issues. Why so many plans don't work

There are so many reasons programs have failed people in the past, and I truly believe it's the program, not you! Most programs are too rigid and not sustainable for your life. If you're on a strict diet, you might drop weight initially, but you'll likely gain it back because it's impossible to maintain that rigidity long-term.

Many programs have long lists of foods you can't eat, which can create negative patterns and associations with food. This can lead to bingeing or "falling off" the program altogether.

Some plans don't allow you to eat enough food, which slows down your metabolism, while others cut out entire food groups like carbs or fats—both of which are essential for lasting health and balanced hormones.
